CWR VCS

An experimental version-control workflow for humans and AI coworkers, exploring signed proposals, review, CI, and integration.

Experiment

What you can explore

A local demonstration using Hyperdrive. The current CI check detects empty files and conflict markers. Peer replication, process isolation, interrupted integration recovery, and untrusted-path handling remain unverified.

Follow a change through the workflow

  1. Propose. Alice and Bob work from the same parent and submit signed changes.
  2. Review. A reviewer approves a proposal or requests a revision.
  3. Check. A separate CI actor checks the exact proposal and signs its result.
  4. Integrate. Approved, passing changes are accepted; overlapping changes produce a conflict.

Run the walkthrough locally, then open http://127.0.0.1:8765. This site publishes the source; it does not operate the demo as a public source-control service.

Run it locally

Requires Node 24+. Commands run from the extracted bundle’s root.

cd experiments/cwr-source
npm ci
npm test
npm run web

See the README for complete commands, checks, and limitations.

Inspect and build on it
